Great trip down memory lane. Thank goodness there are still some people who really care about Blighty!

I totally agree with you that most sites I've visted like yourself are American, it has been a pleasure to view your site (I'm just glad someone is backing Britain). It has been good to reminisce on times gone by that is more appropriate to me. This has now inspired me to have a go at making a British site like you, great perpective keep on adding.

Cool. I'm an American born in the late 1960s, but I've become keenly interested in life in England in the 1950s. I agree with you that the 50s in England were sort of "missed out". I'm interested on the impact that living in that place during that time had on people, particularly the young people. Thanks for your site.

We love this site. We keep visiting because there is so much to see. We have a 1959 Ford Anglia & appreciate the 50's style. Count us in as regular visitors. Thank you very much. Nic & Paul

Great fun - and brought back many memories (even if I do think that being a girl in the 1950s wasn't as bad as you seem to portray!).
