Greasy Spoon Cafe, Fifties Nostalgia

This was a time when men were men and smelt like men. 'Life Bouy' soap and at Christmas 'Old Spice' after shave. None of that stuff we have today, no wonder this generation has so many allergies.

Fifties Man Life was changing fast for the fifties man. Gadgets and stuff was entering the shops. Fifties woman was bombarded with new ideas in all of her magazines. New colour schemes and innovations for the house. In these magazines, a picture series would show how the average man could knock up a dining room suit with nothing more than a Black and Decker drill, a bit of sand paper and a spare half an hour. The reality was something else!
