The Navy Lark,
one of the best programmes of it's time. It ran from the mid fifties through
to the mid sixties. With a crew of John Pertwee and Leslie Phillips one
wonders how the Navy ruled the waves. Trying to steer the boat with the
commands of "Left
hand up a bit, right hand down a bit", it is amazing that the boat lasted
so long. Ronnie Barker made his name in this wonderful show.
