1 1/2 Pounds lean ground beef
1/2 Cup chopped onion
1/2 Cup chopped green bell pepper
1 Tablespoon vegetable oil
1 (10-ounce) Can tomato soup
1 1/2 Teaspoons vinegar
1 Teaspoon dry mustard
1 Teaspoon poultry seasoning
1/2 Teaspoon dried thyme
1/4 Teaspoon salt
6 Hamburger buns


In a large skillet over medium-high heat, brown the ground beef with the onion and green pepper in the oil. Add the remaining ingredients, bring to a boil, educe the heat and simmer for 15 minutes.

Serve on hamburger buns. Notes: You can easily double or triple the recipe to make ahead and serve to a crowd. Keep warm in your slow-cooker for buffet service.
