In the days when we built the best cars in the world, we had some of the best drivers. Mike Hawthorn became Britains first World Grand Prix Champion. British drivers won nine of the ten races this year. In the last race of the season in Casablanca Stirling Moss won setting the fastest lap, but Hawthorn was overall winner. |
