Where Do You Find A Ted?

 

As a rule 'Teds' could be found standing around. They were very good at standing around. They would stand around street corners. They would stand around shops, especially ones that had mirrors in their windows. Mostly you could find them standing round the edges of dance halls.

 

 

The Saturday fashion show took place on most high streets in most towns. Young men would stand around showing off their fineries. Young ladies would walk past several times, and eventually make their choice.

 

 

Apart from the juke box in the "Greasy Spoon Cafe" the other good place to hear Rock'n'Roll was the Fair Ground. In those wonderfull days travelling fairs would visit every town in the country. I suppose in those days we had open spaces
