What Do Teddy Girls Want?

 

 

Teddy girls want for very little in life. A boy friend, enough money for clothes and records. Every girl had a pop star who they adored. They would have photo's pinned up over their beds. They would all go to to concerts to see their favourite star, and collect autographs. Most Teddy Boys would openly have a go at these Rock stars, while secretly wishing they looked like them. For ages boys would walk about with a curled lip, so as to look like Cliff. This came to an end when the government, worried for the next generation, announced "That if the South Wind blew, you would stay like that".
